Meet Charity
Hey, I’m Charity—movement builder, future midwife, wife, mama of six, and hobbyist beekeeper. I’m the heart behind Bumble + Bee Midwifery, rooted in the Deep South, where land, lineage, and liberation shape everything I do.My practice is grounded in traditional midwifery, passed through generations of Black birthworkers who trusted their hands, their ancestors, and their communities. I serve all families with compassion and clinical excellence, but I unapologetically prioritize Black, Brown, queer, rural, and low-income folks—those too often pushed to the margins of healthcare.I’m also a reproductive justice organizer who believes the personal is political. My care is wrapped in values of autonomy, mutual aid, and community power. I’ve walked with families through birth, loss, surrogacy, adoption, and breastfeeding, including my own journeys. My work is holistic, informed, and deeply relational.Outside the clinic, you’ll find me tending bees, raising babies, homeschooling, and cultivating a sustainable life. My family is my anchor, and none of this would be possible without my husband—my partner in life, love, and liberation.This work is spiritual. It’s ancestral. And it’s built for the long haul. If that resonates with you, welcome home.Note: I’m in the final stretch. I’ve completed my midwifery training and am preparing to sit for the NARM exam to become a Certified Professional Midwife. After that, I’ll apply for state licensure in Alabama, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. All care is provided under the direct supervision of a licensed midwife or qualified healthcare professional.Until then, I continue to show up grounded, accountable, and in deep preparation.

- Prenatal visits tailored to your rhythm (virtual & in-person)
- 24/7 availability in labor and the weeks surrounding birth
- Homebirth with full clinical care, water birth option, and labor support
- Postpartum visits up to 6 weeks, including lactation guidance, healing support, and newborn care
- Access to client portal + optional VR pain managementThis is continuity care — I’m not just your midwife, I’m your witness, your guide, and your advocate.

Storyteller Rate
$4000
A discounted care package for those whose stories carry the weight of legacy and the fire of change.This is a community-funded, equity-centered offering for:
- Teen parents, system-impacted folks, queer/trans families, and those birthing in resistance
- Anyone birthing outside the system due to trauma, racism, or systemic harm

Lactation Support
$150/session
Compassionate feeding guidance for every kind of family.Whether you’re nursing, pumping, combo feeding, or navigating challenges like:- Latch struggles or pain
- Low supply, oversupply, or relactation
- Induced lactation (including for adoptive/surrogate families)
- Bottle refusal or weaning…I got you. Sessions are offered in-home or virtually, and always affirm your feeding goals without pressure.Because lactation is ancestral. And every baby deserves to be fed with love.
